Ecuador Mission Trip 2016

I pray that this finds you and yours well today.
I have been given this opportunity to serve as a volunteer missionary on a mission trip with Happy Feet International in Ecuador October 1-8, 2016. I have started the process of preparing myself physically and spiritually for this trip. I will be on a team of 15-20 men from Texas and Alabama. This trip will be an “Extreme Happy Feet” trip. We will be camping in a Quitchiwa Indian village 11,000 feet up in the Andes Mountains.
On this mission trip, we will wash the feet of hundreds of children and place a new pair of socks and shoes on their feet, some for the first time! We will share the Gospel of Christ with each child and with each of their Moms and Dads. Our hope and prayer is that hundreds will pray to receive through God using a pair of new shoes, a simple salvation bracelet and a group of men that are being obedient to serve.
The cost of the mission trip is $2,400.00 per person. This covers the cost of the air fare, my share of the 1,500 + pairs of new shoes and socks, food and basic necessities. If history repeats itself, there will be 600-800 boys, girls and men and women pray to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. I truly believe God is leading me to Ecuador to be a part of this mission. Would you please pray about helping financially? If you feel lead to help with the expense of the mission trip, it would be greatly appreciated.
Would you also start today by praying for the hearts of the Quitchiwa Indian people to be softened and prepared to receive the great message that we will be sharing with them.
