Hello, my name is Kayla. I am putting this fundraiser together for a fellow Fire family in need, the Dickhaus’.

In the last month, their family has endured many obstacles between having their second beautiful baby boy, who has spent the first month of his life in the NICU, undergoing a handful of procedures (hopefully being discharged soon), having their house completely destroyed due to Helene, displacing themselves and their 2-year-old, their second vehicle destroyed as well, and losing their family cat all in the same month. Chrissy is also a nurse and has been off spending any time she can balancing between spending time with their two year old and visiting with their newborn in the NICU. Matt has been doing the same and is now juggling the clean up of their home and all of their belongings as well as demoing what remains of their home. The husband is spending his days up until 3am every night working at their destroyed home. Unfortunately now Milton hit bringing more challenges, extending their babies stay and their nicu journey continues with no end in site just yet. I feel they certainly deserve a break and I believe a little help from our community could really help and would mean a lot.

Please help me in raising the funds to help this sweet family rebuild and cover any costs of keeping a roof over their heads in the meantime. Anything helps, prayers accepted as well.
