On August 27th, 2020 Erika tragically lost her battle to depression, after trying for so long to fight her demons and hold on to save her family from this grief. Everyone who knew Erika knew she had the ability to make you smile in any situation. Erika could find humor in anything and could make those around her laugh, even though she was struggling. Erika was a person who had a contagious smile and always loved to have fun. Her happiness was purely genuine while talking about how much she loved her daughter.
She found joy taking care of individuals who could no longer care for themselves. We are reaching out to ask people to now help her family in this time of need. Erika left behind a three year old daughter, a partner, her family, and an abundance of friends who cared for her deeply. All donations will go directly to funeral expenses and the remainder will go to her partner, Kayla Carlile for life expenses for their daughter. With this being such an unexpected passing the family is asking for donations during this trying time as she did not have any life insurance or anything else to cover the astronomical expenses.
