Mom has passed away... the go fund me has changed to help pay

for funeral expenses and any other expenses that is needed for her...

This is moms journey... she went into the ER (St Lukes) on 12/21/25 with heart failure exacerbation.. I had been trying to get her transfered to UNMC in Omaha for higher care without any luck until they finally agreed to send her to UNMC on New Years Eve night about 10pm ... she arrived at UNMC around midnight.. UNMC called me at 1:30am and told me to come to omaha they needed to take mom into surgery becouse she was in Cardiogenic shock and Liver shock.... she went into StLukes with an ejection fraction(EF) of 26% ....when she got to UNMC her EF was down to 5%... We ( Me and Todd) arrived at the hospital and they had her in Surgery by 3am.. I was able to talk to her about important questions and her wishes before she went into surgery.. she told me that she has alot of living to do and wanted the heart transplant if she needed one. Between Jan 1st to the 3rd she had 5 or 6 different procedures, atleast... In total she has ended up with 4 machines so far to help her stay alive that include a respirator, ECMO, Impella, and dialysis machine... she has been unresponsive sine New Years Eve..

They r gunna start the heart transplant process Jan 5th to see if she qualifies for it... It is a very looong process !!.. Hopefully she qualifies ... she has a long road ahead of her no matter if they do the transplant or not...

I have been at the hospital with her since New Years Eve and I was lucky enough to be able to stay in one of their Nebraska house rooms here in the hospital for $60 a night so I can get a few hours of sleep at night and then im by her side all day..

With all that being said Mom is gunna need alot of medical care in and out of the hospital... and $60 a night plus other expenses adds up fast for me as well and I really dont want to leave her side and want to be with her throughout her journey..

Many people have asked how they can help or what they can do, so that is the reason im setting this up..

I'm trying my best to keep everyone updated on her progress so im gunna see about starting some kind of health caring page so everyone can go on and read all the updates ..

I personally dont even have enough words to express the gratitude I have for ALL of you that have reached out and sending all your prayers and support... Mom has an amazing people in her corner... THANK Y'ALL SOOOO MUCH for your love for her and all you your prayers !!
