Ever since I was a little girl my dad has been the center of my world. My dad passed away on Tuesday morning due to complications of liver cirrhosis. He lived on a fixed income so he had no savings and no insurance. Now it's left up to me to have him laid to rest. His total funeral cost is around $6000. The funeral home is allowing me to make monthly payments on the biggest part of that, however, I have to pay $2000 upfront before they will bury my dad. I only have $800 of that. I've cut all possible costs by getting volunteers to dig his grave and eliminated a traditional service so I can't get the cost down any further. My dad would give a person his last dollar and I've seen him do so. My dad deserves a proper burial. Any help would be greatly appreciated regardless of how small.
