Funeral expenses for my father.

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tracey most of you know me from my employment at CPS.
My father Larry Posey a 74 year old husband, father, grandfather and Jack of all trades was working on a family friends tractor and something went horribly wrong and the tractor ran my father over. The circumstances are unknown due to his injuries.
This took place on February 13th. He was air lifted to UC. He has multiple token bones, collapsed both lungs, had a fractured skull and dislocated jaw bone and many other injuries.
Shortly after having his rib cage completely repaired with a steal plate he fell into a coma for a month.
We never gave up on him!

To our surprise he woke from the coma only to suffer three strokes and be in Afib . His mental status decreased and he was once again unresponsive. He was placed on life support. All hope seemed gone.

After 15 days of this bout of coma or body shut down HE WOKE UP! Dad began to lift his left arm only and answer with head shakes and was awake for most of the day. THE FAMILY WAS OVERWHELMED WITH HAPPINESS. We immediately started PT AND OT with him to help with the side effects of the strokes. His activity level stayed the same and all of the family was happy with his progress.
This progress continued until Friday the 12 of may my dad became very sleepy and unresponsive. The nurses told us it was just tiredness from therapy. Saturday 5/13 dad started vomiting while on life support for breathing aid. We begged the staff to send him to a different emergency facility to get him better care - the nurses and DR”s denied.

On Saturday May 13 at 11pm I got the most dreaded call I could ever get.
A call and my brother screaming on the other end “ get to dad he’s dying”
I rushed to the hospital being the closest to it.
Upon arrival I was told they had been doing compressions for 45 min and wanted to stop. I wasn’t able to make that decision so, they kept going. Finally they got a pulse and rushed him to medical ICU.
After arrival of all the family we were able to stay with him but the worst wasn’t over.
His organs were shutting down and he was in septic shock and his bowels had exploded inside him and he had internal bleeding.
The hospital revived him 4x with medications and mechanical palpitations. Every-time he would code again and have to be revived.
From 11pm on the 13th of May till 9:20am on the 14th of May my father died 4x and was brought back. We fought like this until his body couldn’t take anymore and no matter how much meds were being given he wasn’t coming back.
MY FATHER LARRY WAYNE POSEY WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT 9:20 am on May the 14th.
My dad cares for my mother, sister and one of his grandchildren on social security as an income.

The reason for this post is to reach out to you the listener and ask with my heavy heart that you find it in your heart to help my family get my father buried.

We were given a few estimates and the cheapest we have gotten was 4,000. Nothing fancy just dignitary to him.

so please if it’s one dollar or one cent please anything will help.

Thank you all.
