Help Alisha Henry save Athena!

Athena is a very loved English Mastiff who is spending her 3rd birthday at the University of Tennessee awaiting a life or death surgery. On Monday, she was gasping for air and had to be rushed to the vet. From there, they removed 3 liters of fluid from her lungs and sent her to the University of Tennessee. She has been there for three days going through tests to determine the cause and best approach for her care. She has been diagnosed with “idiopathic chylothorax.” Because of the severity she must have a life saving surgery, or be euthanized. Her surgery cannot be done until the 5th of October and she has to stay in the hospital until after she is stable. Her estimated total bill is approximately $12,000 at this moment. If this cannot be paid, Athena will have to be euthanized. Athena’s family- Alisha, Skylee (12 yrs) and Mason (7 yrs) are absolutely heart broken to have to face this decision. No one should ever have to end on their dog’s life if they cannot pay a bill up front. Please help us save Athena!
