Camps International Borneo

By way of introduction, my name is Tegan McKenzie. I am 14 years old and currently year 10 in Diss High School and I belong to 1st Dickleburgh Sea Scouts, where i also volunteer as a young leader for the 1st Dickleburgh Beaver group.

I have been very lucky in securing a place for the diss high school camps International borneo scuba expedition for 2024

This trip not only includes a scuba diving course but also volunteering work within the community such as working with the sun bears and orangutans. I'll also be leaving my phone behind and getting out in the culture and local areas.

In order to take part in the trip, I must raise £4580 by 05/05/2024. I feel this trip would give me an invaluable insight into other cultures and provide an amazing experience working with other cultures, before I set off for a career in the Navy. So far we've hosted a Christmas Market, regular quiz nights, held tombola and games stalls at local events. We've got a spring fair and mother's day tea and cakes afternoon coming up to.
