Sarah-Strong, Fighting Lyme Disease

Hello friends and family, Thank you for taking the time to listen to our story. My wife Sarah has been struggling with undiagnosed illnesses for several years. Sarah was recently diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease.  We believe that this disease is the culprit for her ongoing ailments. Lyme Disease is one of the most debilitating diseases known to man. Sarah is already fighting with over 60 different symptoms such as neurological, cognitave, cardiac, GI, kidney and liver functions to name a few. The list goes on and on. While conducting countless hours of research we have found some hope for treatment. Lyme Disease is not currently curable however, it can be managed to some degree and put into remission for an unknown period of time. Therapy and treatment is NOT covered by any insurance  companies. Believe me, we have looked. We did find a treatment facility in Florida that has a high record of success in treating patients with Lyme and Co-Infections. The downfall to the treatment not being covered by insurance, is that it is very expensive. It depends on the person, as each person responds differently to treatment. Some people stay in treatment anywhere from one week to several months. Treatment fees start at $3000.00 per week. The average person will probably spend between $50,000 to $300,000 to treat their symptoms and live a somewhat "normal" life. Any donations that we receive will be put towards Sarahs treatment and therapy. If there is any money left over, we would like to donate it to finding a cure for Lyme Disease or to help others who like us who can not afford the expensive treatment.
