Please help Ayden and Lindsey cover Butter’s vet bills after being hit by a car.

Having just arrived in Costa Rica for vacation, Lindsey and Ayden received a terrible call last night about their beloved 9 month puppy, Butter. While being walked by a dog sitter, Butter was able to whip off her lead after seeing a stray cat, and within a matter of seconds, she darted across the street in pursuit and was struck by a car. The dog sitter and a good samaritan were able to get Butter to the emergency vet, where they discovered a broken femur, air in her lungs (pneumothorax) and fluid in her abdomen. Because of her serious condition, she needed to be transported to Culver City Access animal hospital via doggy ambulance and on oxygen. She is now in LA receiving the best care possible and we are all praying that her toughness and grit pull her through this. The estimate that the vet gave for Butter’s hospitalization was $30,000, not including the ambulance ride or the initial vet visit. Ayden and Lindsey are flying back immediately and ending their vacation to be with Butter. As you can imagine, the cost of this medical care is overwhelming.
