My sister, Brenda Delphine Mudryk, is in a battle for her life. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer in June of 2024 and is currently taking chemotherapy.

Brenda, whom I have always called “Ben”, wears many hats. She is the mother of 3 sons, Grandma to 2 precious grandsons, a much loved daughter of Allen and Delphine Young, a treasured sister and friend, as well as favorite “Auntie Ben” to my own grandchildren.

She worked at St Paul Education for 20+ years as an educational assistant (EA), most of that working in the PUF Program. The last two years she spent as a program assistant in the Student Supports Inclusive Education. Brenda is an exceptional educator with her kind and gentle spirit, and she loves her work.

Now, as she battles an evil cancer, she also faces unknown career possibilities.

Brenda is a gentle and kind soul. She is quiet but has the most amazing laugh. She has a heart for people, especially kids. Her heart's joy is seeing kids reach their full potential. She would give you anything you needed without question. She is a steadfast support you can count on. We want to be that support for her now. She'd never ask for support which is why we are doing this go fund me, to ask for her. She's been such a support and joy to all the kids in the school she worked in, to her grandchildren, to all those around her. Please help us support her now.
