Queen Elsa's Fund for Clara

A dear friend and old work colleague of mine, Amy Shepps, is really needing some strong prayers right now for her little girl Clara. About a month ago, Clara was throwing up and having bad headaches. She was originally misdiagnosed as having post-concussion syndrome for hitting her head against the headboard, as most 3 year olds do hit their heads often.
Unfortunately, the headaches worsened, and Clara ended up in the emergency room. She also saw 6 different pediatricians to get to the bottom of ongoing and painful symptoms. Last Tuesday, three year old Clara ended up getting an MRI showing a mass on her brain. Surgery was immediately scheduled the next morning. During the surgery, they removed 2 golf ball sized tumors partially wrapped around Clara's little spine. Thankfully, surgery was successful and the tumors were fully removed. However, the biopsy results have come in, and Clara has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Anoplastic Ependymoma. The next step is to meet with the Pediatric Oncologist and move forward with either radiation, chemotherapy, or both. She's also started physical therapy because she's too weak to walk.
Queen Clara (NOT princess, please!), is known to close friends as a sweet little firecracker. Full of spunk and excitement, she’s quick to keep up with oldest sister, Sydney, 8 years old, and a very caring big sister to baby Scarlett, 4 months old. She absolutely loves everything Frozen, but cannot be called a princess, only “Queen Elsa.” Clara is often simply smiley and quiet.
Clara's parents, Tony and Amy, have been so faithful during this time, putting everything in God's hands. If you could extend your hands to help this amazing family with any support for the uphill medical expenses they are beginning to see, they would be grateful. If not, more important that any amount of money, is to please keep Clara, her sisters, and her parents, in your thoughts and prayers and they move forward in faith and hope that their little girl gets well.
