Help Family Rebuild Life after House Fire

Taylor is a valued employee of Mas Amor Cantina please read her story and do anything you can to help.
My name is Taylor Johnson, and I am writing on behalf of my mom and myself. The unthinkable happened to us a week ago, January 12th. The house we were living in accidentally caught fire. Thankfully and most importantly, no one was severely hurt. However, my mom, Jennifer, did have to go to the hospital for smoke inhalation; she was released later that night but still suffers from coughing episodes and tiredness. My mom is a single mom and has raised me on her own. We both work for area restaurants in Catawba County. My mom was in the house when the fire started; she had just finished a double shift at work and was asleep on the sofa. During college holiday breaks and weekends I work at Mas Amor Cantina Restaurant, I work to help cover my college education costs at UNC Charlotte. This devastating fire destroyed all of our furniture and personal belongings. However, we have each other and plan to work harder to get back to where we were before the fire.
We started the go fund me page since so many of you have wanted to help with rent, security deposit, furniture and other necessary expenses for our new home. We have been so thankful for all the clothes and supplies donated to us. Thank you to everyone who has donated, and may you never experience a fire or any devastation that takes everything you own and leaves you homeless.
