Rescued hours before euthanasia, he is fighting to survive.
Batman is just a 6-month-old puppy who has already suffered more than most dogs ever will...
He was found with severe injuries, likely from chemical burns or being dragged, and brought to Greenville County Animal Care (GCAC) in South Carolina on June 30th, 2025. His wounds were too much for the shelter to manage, and by Monday, July 14th at 12PM, Batman was scheduled to be euthanized.
No one came for him. Until we did.
Just hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized, I was able to pull Batman through Hampton’s Hope Sanctuary, who helped me step in at the last minute to save his life. He was rushed to safety and is now receiving the urgent medical attention he needs.
Batman’s treatment will include:
- Wound care and burn management
- Pain control and antibiotics
- Laser treatment
- Vet monitoring and possible specialist support
- Ongoing supplies and foster care essentials
Batman isn’t just dealing with painful wounds, he’s now showing signs of a possible upper respiratory infection. He has green nasal discharge coming from both nostrils, which may require:
- A vet exam and testing (possibly X-rays or cultures)
- Antibiotics or nebulizer treatments
- Monitoring for pneumonia or other complications
All donations will go toward Batman’s recovery ensuring full transparency and responsible use of every dollar. We will share receipts, vet updates, and progress reports as he heals.
Batman has a long road ahead — but he’s finally safe, and he’s not giving up.
If you can donate, share, or simply send love his way, it all helps more than you know. Thank you for believing in second chances.
