Hello, Bianca was a foster fail. She has had issues to overcome her entire life. We rescued her when she was just 7 weeks old. She was brought into the vet because of a suspected broken leg; the owner did not want to pay for the visit. She ended up being septic, anemic, malnourished, dehydrated, totally emaciated, and too weak to stand. Her glucose was too low to read, her hind leg was swollen and full of pus because she had a compromised immune system. She had to have a blood transfusion and a couple of plasma transfusions because her protein was so low. Because of her neglectful start in life, she has no enamel on her teeth. She got her name Bianca because her gums were pale, white.
Now, almost 9 years later, she has blown her anterior cruciate ligament on her right hind leg. The vet says her left one will probably go very soon. She is having a difficult time walking. She is taking joint meds, and her vet has prescribed pain meds to hopefully take the edge off the pain. The surgeries she needs will cost a minimum of about $12,000. I am far from wealthy and am trying to figure out how I am going to pay for this. She is having a difficult time walking and runs on 3 legs. I am looking into purchasing braces for her legs to stabilize them until she is able to get her surgery...With your help, I know things will work out. All funds will I will give directly to her surgion on the day of surgery...
Thank you so much for reading her story.
