I am Natasha Rutherford. Sheryl Guthrie is my Mom, Kenneth is my Step-Dad. 
I am trying to raise money for funeral and medical expenses for Kenneth. Kenneth suffered a fall in early Febuary which caused injury to his head.  He was in the hospital for a week, then released thinking everything was fine. Two days later Mom had to take him back to the E.R. only to find out that his brain was bleeding and swelling.  Within 30 minutes they had him in the operating room doing a craniectomy. They had to remove a large section of his skull to relieve the swelling.  After 3 days in the ICU they took him off of the ventilator, he seemed to be doing much better. He took a turn for the worse the next day.  They put him back on the ventilator, then in a medically induced coma.   Where he fought for 12 long arduous days.
Kenneth passed away on Saturday Febuary 27, 2016 at 1:31pm.
My Mom  now finds herself in the most difficult of times, losing the man she has loved since she was a teenager, and trying to figure out how to pay for burial and medical expenses.
There isn't any life insurance, burial fund, or any assests at all for that matter.
Kenneth was a life long resident of Bell County. We are asking you, his family and friends, for help.  Anyone who has ever spent more than 5 minutes with Kenneth knows he'd give you the shirt off of his back. He was dependable, he was charismatic, respectful, and honest. He always had a smile on his face and a joke or a funny little prank for everyone he met. There is truely a void left in our lives without him.
Anything that you could help with would be so greatly appreciated.  He was an awesome man and deserves a decent send off.
