Hi, our names are Tamara and Dane and we are deeply saddened to share that Nova will be needing emergency surgery. Nova will be two in June and came into our lives during the start of the pandemic. About three weeks ago we noticed she couldn’t hold food down. She has lost a great deal of weight as a result and isn’t her upbeat self anymore. After visiting multiple ER’s and clinics we were recommended to do an ultrasound to find the source of the problem and surgery. With this, the vets estimate her costs to be around 6,000 dollars and unfortunately we can’t do this on our own. Nova means the absolute world to us and we can’t begin to be okay with the possibility of her passing without expending all of our resources.
