Everyone who knows us knows the bonds we share with our children. Also, anyone who knows us knows my daughter has had a 5-year battle for her life. On her hands and knees most days, writhing in pain, burning her back by taking scalding hot showers just to distract her from the pain she deals with every day. Two years ago, she had a major surgery hoping to starve the endometriosis. Her pain has never stopped. So, on top of everything else, she will never be able to conceive children. She's about to be 26, which is the age that Dewey's health coverage will stop for her. She is in a war for her life for over a month now. What the doctors have told me, they are trying different ways to strengthen her lungs and heart so her body can recover. We are raising money for her care, recovery, housing, and day-to-day needs until she qualifies for some sort of state help.
