Hello! My name is Chelsey, and I am writing on behalf of my beautiful sister, Megan Somers. Megan is a mom of 3 boys, ages 17, 12, and 7. She was diagnosed in January of 2022 with cervical cancer.

She initially underwent intense chemotherapy and radiation treatments, which left her free of cancer for a bit. Then it returned, which meant more chemo and immunotherapy medications. For the last year, her scans have shown no sign of cancer.

Our worst nightmare came true this October when her PET scan showed recurrent metastases to the lymph nodes. They are considering radiation therapy but also highly encouraged Megan to seek out clinical trials.

While this could be a wonderful option, it is also an expensive one. Clinical trials will require travel across the country to different hospitals for varying amounts of time. Her first trip is scheduled for the first week in December to a hospital in Houston, Texas.

I am asking for any and all donations to help go toward travel costs, paying for treatments, feeding her family while she’s gone, etc. I know times are tough, so I do not ask this lightly.
