My family is facing a heartbreak we never imagined. My sister has lost her 19-year-old son to a senseless act of violence. This is the second child she has had to bury in just two years, and our hearts are shattered beyond words.

No mother should ever have to experience this kind of pain once, let alone twice. She is devastated, overwhelmed, and trying to make sense of something that can never be understood. As she’s navigating this unimaginable grief, she is also faced with unexpected expenses and the heavy burden of planning another funeral for her child.
