Hi, my name is Dick Van Meter and I live in Columbus, Ohio.
May 18th in the rehabilitation center I started throwing up blood so the squad took me back to Riverside Hospital. I was put in the ICU for a week. During that time I had 3 Endoscopy exams, and two pints of blood. The doctor said I have 3 stomach ulcers which they treated. I came home on May 27. My hospital bill was paid for by the VA.
I received a bill from Mill Run for $7,040 for the 22 days of care after the insurance cut me off April 27- May 18.
My wife and I survive on Social Security and do not have money to pay this bill.
Any donations would help us pay this off. I have already put $400 towards it.
