Hi, My name is Eric and I need some help. Our baby was born Nov 13th and she’s not doing well. She and my wife were rushed to BC children’s hospital because the Doctors thought her esophagus wasn’t attached to her stomach.

Shortly after arriving at BCCH the doctors here confirmed that her esophagus is in fact attached, but she still hasn’t pooped on her own and hasn’t eaten yet. They are running lots of tests and at the moment the their are 4-6 different possibilities including cystic fibrosis, Hirschsprung disease and Bowel obstruction.

At this moment we still haven’t had the exact diagnosis, but this traumatic experience has been a surprise to our family. We just ask for help with any financial assistance. Any amount is appreciated during this stressful time for our family.
