Help Us Save Our Children and Rebuild Our Lives

We are a family of five. My husband and I are both engineers, and we used to live a stable and comfortable life in our home country. But everything changed when we were blessed with two sons who suffer from severe disabilities.

Our boys are 10 and 9 years old. They have cerebral palsy and brain atrophy due to oxygen deprivation at birth, which caused permanent physical and mental disabilities. They suffer from frequent seizures, and one of them also has muscle atrophy and limb shortening on his left side.

We couldn’t find proper treatment in our country, so we sold everything we owned and came to the U.S. seeking hope and medical care. A hospital in Massachusetts took over their treatment, and we used every dollar we had to cover medical expenses. Unfortunately, the costs were overwhelming, and our funds ran out.

We applied for asylum hoping to receive government support, but due to policy changes, aid was no longer available for asylum seekers without Green Cards.

Then, by the grace of God, we were selected this year in the Diversity Visa (Green Card Lottery). This is a life-changing opportunity that would allow our children to receive consistent medical treatment, SSI support, food stamps, and healthcare.

However, we now face a new challenge — we need to cover immigration fees, lawyer expenses, medical examination costs, basic living needs, and debts we incurred during our time without income. We are also hoping to help the father start a small business so he can support the family while still being able to help care for our disabled sons.

Please note that the total expenses for obtaining the Green Card, medical examinations, and legal representation exceed $20,000.
