This morning, I was woken up with the news no 19-year-old should ever have to hear. Last night, one of my best friends I’ve ever made, Ryan, passed away in a car accident. Ryan was the most genuine, kind-hearted person I’ve ever met and was always ready to help me with anything before he wanted to help himself. I am completely heartbroken and distraught to the point I can’t stop thinking about his family. They have fed me, kept me in their home, and they treated me like I was their own.
