Our dog daisy has always been such a happy go lucky, sweet girl but everything started changing as of last Friday she suddenly was walking into things and hurting herself and started suddenly losing weight we took her to the vets they did some bloodtests the unfortunately result but one of the better outcomes was diabetes which has unfortunately resulted in her losing the ability to see. It has broken our heart as she has gone from a very brave adventuring dog to a scared out of her wits while finding her way around and need ALOT reassurance, help, care and love to get her way around which is utterly heartbreaking. The vets have advised that cataracts that are covering Daisy's lenses currently must be removed within 12 months, ideally ASAP to prevent any further potential damage to her vision- the longer they are there the higher the risk of infections and damage to her corneas
However, the operation to remove the cataracts is £3,000 per eye which is an astronomical amount for us to save up and we must get this operation performed as soon as possible
Everyone that has met Daisy has fallen in love with her, she is the sweetest most beautiful little creature and we really want to save as much of her eyesight as possible
Thankyou to anyone who donates we're eternally greatful for any help
Lots of love
From
