Hello all, My name is David, and I'm reaching out to get help to cover the funeral costs for my Uncle Sam Buchbinder. Uncle Sam and Aunt Renee have always been there to help me when I needed them. Additionally, Sam and Renee had always helped in the past when any family and friends were in need over the years, where and when they could. Sadly they fell on hard financial times over the past few years and live on a very tight budget with limited income. This did not allow them to save for and be able to cover the costs of getting back to Chicago for burial. While the family is working to help offset these costs, we were hoping to have more time to get everything in order when Sam unexpectedly passed away last night. By Jewish tradition, we made arrangements to get his body shipped to Chicago and have the Funeral scheduled for 3 pm on Friday, when the money will be due. Unfortunately, while we are working to be able to cover this within the family, we have not been able to gather all the funds, and time is running short. On the advice of a trusted family friend, I am creating this page in the hopes that any funds we are unable to secure in the next 24hours via family might be able to be helped by the community for a Jewish family in need.
