We’re sharing this GoFundMe page with you today in hopes of gathering financial gifts in lieu of flowers at the sudden passing of Randy Denham to support his newly widowed wife, Benya Denham.
The Back Story
Benya and Randy first met in 2014. They were introduced through a mutual friend Randy worked with. While an introduction like that might not seem so uncommon – their love story began thousands of miles apart. Benya is originally from Thailand. You could say it was love at first sight. Randy began to court Benya and they spent the next year texting and calling each other – a lot! We laughed as Randy’s texts to family started sounding more like Thai-English. Surprisingly, even though Randy never owned a passport, he flew to Thailand to meet Benya. Eventually Randy proposed and Benya, said YES!Together they began the long arduous process of getting Benya’sfiancé visa and stacks of paperwork required to bring her to the US. Benya and her family celebrated their marriage in Thailand on July 18, 2015. Shortly thereafter, Randy and Benya flew back to the United States to begin their life together. Randy and Benya exchanged their vows in the US on August 28, 2015. Randy and Benya just celebrated their 5th year anniversary in 2020!
Heartache, Tragedy, and Why We Are Asking for Your Help
On the morning of December 21st, 2020, three short months after their 5th Year Anniversary, Randy tragically passed away. Words cannot express the heartache we are currently experiencing. And that’s where you come in. Would you kindly consider donating monies to Benya’s GoFundMe account? She needs so much help at this time. She’s continuing to learn English, needs to learn how to drive, pay for the unexpected funeral expenses, and figure out all the financial pieces of starting her life here in the United States, without Randy. It’s overwhelming to say the least. Benya would really appreciate your financial support during this time.
