Amber, my best friend for over eight years, has a mass on her spleen, and consequently, needs a splenectomy.

After a couple UTI's, we took her in for a bladder x-ray to check for stones. While her bladder was clear, the mass was found. The surgery can't be performed at my regular clinic, so she needs to go elsewhere, where the surgery is going to cost $1300 and a biopsy will be $500.

I don't have the funds for this at the moment, and wouldn't until at least next summer. However, splenic tumors are important to remove ASAP when found because they're prone to rupturing.

I've been applying for veterinary funding from several different places, but haven't gotten anywhere so far, and she needs this mass removed as soon as possible.

Anything would help to save my baby girl.
