Hi everyone! I am fundrasing for a mission trip to Antigua, Guatemala. In August I will be traveling with around twenty other incoming freshmen from Baylor University to a malnutrition center. We will spend a week helping nannies at the malnutrition center care for young children, as well as perform other maintnance projects. This mission trip is very important to me because it involves helping children. I have been active in my local Junior Optimist's club for seven years, and our slogan is kids helping kids. Even as I get older I still think it is incredibly important to put children first, and am excited to see what work we can get done in Guatemala! The trip will be a wonderful way for me to form bonds with my fellow classmates, and an amazing way to work for the Lord. It will be the first of many opportunities to make a difference as I begin my journey as a student of International Studies at Baylor University.
The trip itinerary can be found here.
