Matt Monahan Legacy Fund

On May 7th, 2020 the hockey community lost one of its best.  To honor Matt's memory and the countless lives he touched, Matt's teammates are raising funds to help ensure his children can continue to participate in the sport Matt so dearly loved, as well as other athletic and scholastic activities.  Matt will forever be remembered as a tremendous hockey player who made the game easy for those on his team, and incredibly difficult for those playing against him.  As good a hockey player as he was, Matt was an even better person off the ice.  A true gentleman, Matt was quick with a smile and always more interested in asking about the welfare of others than focusing on his own courageous battle.  


This fundraising effort is a modest expression of how thankful we are for having known Matt and our continued love and support for his wife Angie and children Jillian and Declan.  We miss you Matt and hope that when you look down upon us as we struggle at the sport you played so well, that you will steer a couple lucky puck bounces our way.
