Support Ronnie Vah Jr. in His Battle Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Ashlee and my father, Ronnie Vah Jr., has been battling prostate cancer since 2017.

My father has been my rock, guiding me through life with his unwavering love and faith. He helped me through college, instilled in me a deep love for Christ, and has always been there for me and so many others. But over the past year, his journey has become even more difficult.

In 2023, we received the heartbreaking news that his cancer had metastasized. That same year, he lost his beloved mother, endured a personal betrayal from a mentor he trusted, and faced the resurfacing of painful memories from his past. The weight of it all led him to a brief struggle with drinking—something he had never done before. But through the power of prayer and the support of our family and church, he overcame.

Despite his strength and resilience, my dad’s health has continued to decline, and in August 2024, he lost his job due to the progression of his illness, and as a result of this, neither of my parents currently have health insurance. It’s been incredibly hard watching them struggle financially, especially knowing how much they have always given to others. My father is not one to ask for help—he has always been the one helping. But now, he needs us.

How You Can Help:

I want to give back to my dad before his time on this earth is over. He has done so much for me and for so many others, and I want to ease his burden in any way I can. As a college student, I haven’t been able to support him financially, but I know that together, we can make a difference.
