Hi friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
We’re rallying around Jordan McGarvey, a 38-year-old devoted mom of five amazing kids, as she bravely continues her journey battling adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) — a rare and relentless form of cancer.
Jordan recently underwent surgery to remove a large tumor (lovingly nicknamed Bertha), and we are so thankful that hurdle is now behind her. However, this isn’t the end of her fight. Jordan still has several small lung nodules that cannot be removed at this time. While they’ll be closely monitored, she now faces a lifelong treatment plan to help prevent the spread and recurrence of cancer.
She will soon begin a targeted daily cancer medication to slow or stop the progression of these nodules. The medication comes with challenging side effects, but Jordan is staying strong and hopeful that her body will tolerate it well.
Because of the nature of ACC, doctors never use the term “cancer-free.” This journey is ongoing, and the road ahead is long and uncertain. But through it all, Jordan remains full of faith, strength, and love for her children and her community.
As you can imagine, this battle comes with heavy emotional, physical, and financial burdens. Your support will go directly toward medical bills, treatment costs, daily living expenses, and anything that helps Jordan continue being the incredible mom and warrior that she is.
Jordan says it best:
“Ultimately, I know God isn’t finished with me yet, and my miracle is ongoing. Getting Bertha out was a HUGE obstacle that I am overjoyed to have behind me. Now we take it one day and one prayer at a time.”
Please consider donating and sharing this page with others. Every little bit brings hope and help to Jordan and her family.
With gratitude and love,
