Help Support Wyatt Battling Stage 1 Ganglioglioma

Hi, my name is Becky Laliberte, I wanted to start a go fund me, to help us financially during this difficult time. My son Wyatt is the most outgoing, sweetest 7 year old, it breaks my heart to see everything he has gone through medically over the years. He had open heart surgery at 5 years old, which resulted in a 3 months recovery, multiple follow up appointments, he had a collapsed lung, but he was a trooper, he did it and recovered perfectly. Now unfortunately we just found out he has a brain tumor, called posterior fossa tumor, it is located in the back of the brain right above the spinal cord. He will be having brain surgery/ biopsy in 6 days, they unfortunately cannot remove the entire tumor as part of it is infused with the good muscle of the brain and it is too risky to remove it all, so they need to shrink the rest of it, which would be either a medication he takes for a few years or would be chemotherapy. We do not know if it cancerous or not as of right now, we will know more after his surgery what route we go to get the shrinking process started. It truly breaks my heart that I even have to come this far and ask for help, but with all this going on, there will be less money coming in and more going out, we know Wyatt will have a very long road a head of him, back and fourth to the hospital for appointments and coming home to take care of our daughter, and going back the hospital is 2 hours away from us, we know he will have daily appointments after the week or longer hospital stay after his surgery, working will be extremely hard and will be out of work at least a month if not more, I am just trying to think of the best options so I can have my full focus on my son rather the finical part of life. Truly anything would be a huge help with this difficult time that lies a head of us. Thank you.
