Officer Peter Greene, of the Holden Arboretum Police Department, was involved in a severe motor vehicle accident on I-90 on Sunday, August 28th, while off-duty. Another vehicle came across the grass median and struck his van head-on. Pete has suffered severe leg injuries, other contusions/bruising from the impact, and a concussion with related complications. Pete has a long recovery ahead. The HAPD and Pete’s family appreciate any support in helping with medical bills, vehicle repair expenses and other expenses the family will incur as a result of this accident. Pete is a valued member of HF&G and we hope our efforts with these contributions will support a speedy recovery. Thank you!
