In the words of my Mom, Jessica Fisch, "This is Brady. He is the best boy and loved by everyone because this magnificent fellow is incredibly friendly. He walked into my life with his tail straight up and just happily worked the room. He sleeps in my arms every night and I have given him the best life possible. He loves me. I adore him. "

One day, Brady started to limp. We all hoped it was something routine, that he'd hurt his paw in some simple way that time and love would clear up. But an xray has showed something else. It may be an infection, or it may be cancer, but it hasn't responded to medication, and Brady is hurting. The options aren't great, and on the advice of his vet, Brady's front leg is going to be amputated in a few weeks.

If you know my Mom, you know that she is always willing to lend an ear, to look at a weird mole, to invite everyone to her table for a warm meal. This is an expensive procedure, and while I know times are tight for everyone, I am hoping that those that can will chip in to help make this a little easier on my Mom. All funds will go to my Mom to cover Brady's medical expenses thus far, the amputation, and his post-surgery appointments and pathology.
