Sara Restine was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She is set to undergo a double mastectomy on March 6th, with possible chemo to follow.

She will be out of work recovering all of March. We are asking for donations to help ease the financial burden so she can focus on her health!

Sara is a special person to many people. You may know her from Farmer’s Plate Hometown Cafe, living in or around Watertown for the last 10 years, or if she flicked you off because of the way you were driving, (hence the Spicy Sara on the menu). She is very hardworking at work and on her hobby farm. You can find her outside on her tractor tearing down trees, remodeling her house, or doing small projects like creating coasters (she doesn’t sit still!) Most people who know her will tell you that she’s a very kind and loving person, and if you ever needed an honest opinion, she’s the person you want to talk to. I suppose that’s why it’s so easy to connect with her. She’s not scared to show anybody the real her with a smile on her face and a genuine connection and that’s why we love her!
