Help Nicole Graduate

Donation protected
My friend Nicole is just a few months from graduating from Columbia University, but has been struggling with a sudden financial emergency and cannot afford her last semester. I've organized this GoFundMe for Nicole because she is one of the most hardworking and dedicated people I've ever met, and she is so close to achieving her dream of graduation. Here is Nicole's story in her own words - please share far and wide. Let's help Nicole walk across the stage in May - her financial situation should not strip her of this amazing achievement:

My name is Nicole, and I'm a senior at Columbia University studying Neuroscience and Behavior. I’ve been pursuing my dream of becoming a doctor for almost six years now. I’m only a few months from graduating, but without your support, these six years will have been for nothing.
During this last year, my family's financial status and support for my education has changed dramatically, and I've now found myself without funds for this last semester. I'm working tirelessly with my current loan provider; but, at this time I still have an outstanding balance for the Fall 2022 term.
I came to the U.S. almost six years ago in pursuit of the American dream, and to provide my family with a better life; but, as I have a hold on my account I cannot register for the spring semester, and might be sent back to my country if I do not resolve my financial hold by February.
I dream of one day becoming a neurosurgeon. I want to open my own practice focusing on oncology, where I can collaborate with physicians, nutritionists, psychiatrists, and scientists to provide the best care for our vulnerable patients. This is how I want to contribute to society, and I can ensure that every penny donated will extend farther than myself, but everyone whom I hope to treat one day through my knowledge and practice.
I am also passionate about this field, because I have been a patient myself in the past two years, struggling with a chronic illness while being a full-time student at an ivy league institution.
Right now, I'm working closely with my school's financial department for a possible solution, researching and applying for scholarships, and applying for funds from the government of my home country. In addition, 5 Columbia University students and I are working to raise the funds between us all. I've had my spring registration extended in the hopes that I can resolve this issue in time, but am growing increasingly worried.
I'm set to graduate this spring, but fear as the deadline approaches and no solution has appeared that I’m out of luck and will have to drop out. I therefore would deeply appreciate any assistance in forms of sharing my story or donations you might be able to contribute to my education at Columbia University, and finally achieving this 6-year journey of my dream of giving back to society through science.
Thank you so much.
