Many of you know Susana Ferguson, Accounting Supervisor who has worked at WorkCare for the last 15 years, as well as her husband Darin who has worked at the Anaheim BofA property for the last 20 years as the Lobby Ambassador. In Nov 2019 Darin was diagnosed with Lymph Node Cancer in his neck and throat and currently, he is undergoing chemo and radiation therapy five days a week, which is why we haven’t seen his smiling face recently. Doctors expect an 85 to 90 percent recovery at the end of his treatment which will be towards the end of March.  However, the treatments have taken a toll on his body and he is unable to eat or sleep due to the open mouth sores the radiation has caused as well as other painful side effects.  Darin will continue to have an ongoing medical observation to control cancer from spreading further.  Many of you have expressed a desire to help Sue, Darin and their two kids Hannah and Daniel. Let's surround the Ferguson family with comforting thoughts and our WorkCare family support.
