To our dearest global family,

This past weekend, our magical city of Asheville and surrounding communities were devastated by Hurricane Helene. Our immediate priority was to make sure all of our students, staff, faculty, and community members were safe. Many of us still have no power, water, or cell phone services. We continue to touch in with our community members. We have started to distribute food and water to those in need.

The Ayurvedic Institute, Vasant Lad's school, has been the pillar and standard of ayurvedic education throughout the world. Our school for over 40+ years has been more than just walls and classrooms, but rather a sanctuary for all those that seek Truth, connection to the Divine, and timeless wisdom of Ayurveda. The journey ahead to rebuild Asheville & our communities will take time, but our community is strong and built on the foundation of deep connection and love for each other.

Many of you have asked how you can support us in this time of need. We are asking for any donations. All donations will be used to help support the continued operations and rebuilding of The Ayurvedic Institute, its students, staff, and surrounding communities.
