I'm Ashley, and Michelle is one of my very best friends. Her family has become like family to us and she has become an "auntie" to my girls. Back in April, Michelle ended up in the hospital wirh some scary health issues. Once she was finally discharged to go home, she was still very weak and struggling. On July 18th, she ended up back in the hospital due to infections ad being very weak and unstable. Sunday night July 27th, things took a turn for the worse and Michelle became completely unresponsive. They moved her to ICU where she has been sedated and on a ventilator. They have been running different tests and doing scans to try and get to the bottom of this. They did find a large blockage in a bile duct on the gall bladder as well as additional gallstones. They are going to scope it to further examine. Michelle has a long road ahead of her. She most likely won't be going home anytime soon. Her husband Brian hasn't left her side, and their daughter Emily has been holding the fort down at home.
