Our 8th Grade Class Trip

The Waldorf eighth-grade trip is a culminating experience. Cultural experiences and adventure bring alive the curriculum, connect the students to the community, help the students to overcome their limitations, and expand their perspectives. They feel a sense of maturity and accomplishment as they venture into the world and collaborate to fulfil their collective vision. They also have a lot of fun. Building upon their classroom relationships, they bond on a deeper level and celebrate their connection as they prepare to graduate and enter high school.

 

Our eighth graders are excited about the opportunity to travel to Cape Cod, Boston, NYC and Washington DC.  They have been raising funds through various projects and events for many years in anticipation of this trip.  We hope to raise additional money to enrich their experience on this once in a lifetime experience with their classmates.
