Hello, my name is Ivy. I am starting this go fund me on behalf of the most wonderful colleague, co-worker, father, and most of all a loving son, Jose. Jose grew up to a single mom household with three siblings, so he took care of his three siblings and his mom. He was basically the father figure in the family, and he still is. He's been taking care of his family ever since, especially his mom.

Jose has a big heart. He not only takes care of his family but basically anyone around him who needs help. I have never met anyone who is always so willing to help no matter who it is even to a complete stranger. At the workplace: any kid, family, or anyone who needs help such as food, clothing, or any support needed, Jose is there. He even delivers food to the families in need from his own pocket. This guy has done so much for everyone, to his community, and even to a complete stranger. I remember one day we were going to see a movie, and this old lady parked in the street had a flat tire. He stopped and changed the tire for her. Sometimes a parent's car breaks down in the parking lot, who to call, "Jose". He is always the go to person, he wears many hats at work, and he never says no.

The purpose of this fundraising is to help Jose pays for his mom's medical bills, food, clothing, utilities bills, and housing bills. Jose's mom, Doris received a bad and scary news on September 19, 2023 that she has a mesothelioma tumor. At first there was only one tumor found in her stomach, but with more tests from the specialists, now they found two more. Doctors do not know exactly what type of cancer yet, but she needs to undergo a surgery soon. She is currently in a lot of pain and in suffering.

Anyone who knows Jose knows that he never asks for anything from anyone, and that he is stubborn, and always wants to do everything by himself. This fundraising is very important to me. I feel that we need to give back the support that Jose has always given us and to the community.
