On the afternoon of January 10th, my mom's home was completely destroyed by a house fire. Not only was this her home of 30 years, but it was also the base for one of her biggest passions- Spay it Forward East Tennessee, a rescue and sanctuary for cats and dogs. While there were devastating losses suffered, there was no human loss of life in the fire. Many of you have been asking how you can help, and I felt that this is the easiest avenue to allow for that. My mom has always given so much to the community, and I'm grateful for you all wanting to give back to her in this time of loss. Although we've got a long road of rebuilding ahead, your all's support will help Mom get back to doing what she does best- helping animals in need.
