Hi! My name is ghosti and I am disabled. I have fibromyalgia and I’m hypermobile, currently discussing many other issues with my doctors that are currently undiagnosed. My mobility has been severely impacted and most days I am unable to even leave the house, even with the mobility aids I currently have (cane and a walker). I struggle to walk and cannot move far, I can’t move at all without pain. An electric wheelchair would give me access to the world again, help me leave my house and live a life again. It would help me be able to access essential things like the hospital, my doctors surgery and shopping for groceries. It would give me access to my community for emotional support and a support system. It would give me a little freedom. This is something I can’t afford on my own as I am unemployed due to these issues. I have tried other avenues to access this aid, but haven’t been accepted by any of them. All funds will go towards getting an electric wheelchair and any adjustments that need to be done to it. Thank you so much for reading
