Rachel was admitted to M health Fairview Southdale ICU on 1/3/25 with influenza A H1N1, a small blood clot and pneumonia. They did have to put her on a ventilator to help with her breathing. They are working towards the goal of weaning her off this. We wanted to create a go fund me page to help Rachel continue to have her personal care assistants assist her while she is in the hospital. They are such a vital part of her life and their assistance invaluable. We are hoping to use some of the funding to help pay some of the pca’s hours that they assist her in the hospital. During a hospital stay pca’s are not paid. Our hope and goal is to assist Rachel as she transitions from hospital stay to going home! We want to thank all of you for your vital role in her recovery as well, friends, family and coworkers! The outpouring of everyone to help Rachel has been such an overwhelming blessing.
