As we go through life, we gain knowledge and understanding of what it means, "to live". We go through happy times and sad times as we create memories and personal growth. One of the hardest parts of life is grief. Losing a loved one leaves us feeling empty and sorrow.
On Monday, January 18th, 2016 Raymond Griego left this earth and joined the heavens above. He had suffered 3 years of kidney failure, several surgeries, leg amputations, and a lot of pain. He did everything he could to hold on and fight, but now is in a better place and free of pain. We will be celebrating his life and how much he enlightened the lives of many on Tuesday, January 26th, 2016.
On top of losing a loved one, we are forced to plan and put together a funeral or celebration of life service to commemorate and possibly find closure in this tragedy. This service is usually put together with little notice and costs a great deal of money.
Andrea Griego, Ray’s loving wife and companion for the last 44 years, was Ray’s caretaker. Due to the immense need of care Ray needed during the last year of his life, Andrea was unable to work and was solely his caretaker. Our family would be greatly appreciative of any donation you may consider putting towards the cost of Ray's funeral and medical bills. Anything helps, no matter the size in contribution!
