In the early morning hours on Monday, November 16th Heaven gained another angel claimed by a senseless act of domestic violence. My cousin, Melissa Arreola, was tragically taken from us in a way that shocked our entire family.  Melissa was the mother to 3 beautiful children Makayla, Damon and Derrion and was the big sister to Michelle, Monica and Eddie Arreola. This family has experienced tremendous loss in their short lives that includes both of Melissa's parents, as well as Damon and Derrion's father. If you knew Melissa you know she was an amazing person who strove to provide for her family. She loved her children more than life itself and fell victim to a man who had been a family friend for many years and one whom she only recently began dating.  During this time of need we are asking for donations to help fund Melissa's funeral services, as well as ongoing costs for her children.  We also ask for prayer as the family grieves and makes decisions about her children's well being.  We also ask that if you know anyone who is an abusive relationship that you share Melissa's story. Our family did not have time to intervene nor do we believe we would've needed to. Melissa was strong enough to leave on her own and would have had she been given the opportunity.  Anything helps and we appreciate everyone's love and support.
