MY BABY HAS CANCER...

My daughter Alana is only 18... she's beautiful, strong, funny & determined... For a few years she had issues with pain in her neck, exhaustion and symptoms of severe depression. Her doctor told her to put heat on it assuming it was the pulled muscle. Trying to get her into therapy throughout this time, but never doing a blood test to see if there was something physically wrong with her. A little over a month ago she had signs of something severe and urgent!!! I took her to the emergency room. After doing a chest x-ray and then eventually CT scan, the found severe fluid on her lungs and a huge mass around her heart. Alana already has congenital heart defects. Too much for any child to have to deal with. The neck issue was actually lymphoma...

NON HODGKIN'S ACUTE TCELL LYMPHOBLASTIC LYMPHOMA. Dear god... When I told her what the Doctor said, I saw the light go out in her eyes. She is being treated at Robert Lurie in Chicago. Her dad has had to take off work at this point to bring her for chemo at least once a week and now sometimes three or four. She's withering away, hurting and exhausted. We will do anything to save her. It has put major financial pressure on the lives of the people that love her. Alana has not even graduated high school. She doesn't have a driver's license yet. She's too weak to even go up and down the stairs at the apartment. I'm desperately asking for help towards the cost of the things that insurance and the hospital don't really help with. Funds for gas, lost work. Her dad is having trouble even paying rent. For things she may want or need to make her more comfortable. Any amount will be helping towards saving my daughter... She still has so much life to live. Please share... Thank you in advance.
