Hi Friends,
Nala is a beautiful 5-month-old french bulldog girl, and younger sister to frenchie Minnie Machine (https://instagram.com/minniemachine/). She is a curious, sweet and fun-loving puppy living in San Diego.
Late afternoon on March 17, she was bitten by a large Southern Pacific Rattlesnake that was hiding in our backyard. Minnie even tried to warn her by barking, but Nala being the curious one, gravitated toward the snake and was bitten before we even realized it was there.
We rushed her to the vet/animal emergency clinic asap and she has been on Antivenin, antibiotics and other fluids since. She was bitten on her face, which is extremely swollen. She is only 12 pounds, which is working against her. We were just informed that her blood work has taken a turn for the worse, and that the clinic needs to adminster stronger, more costly Antivenin and medicine.
We have never used a page like this, but we would appreciate ANY donation you might be able to spare to put toward Nala's medical bills and treatment, which we are still praying will save her life. If anything, we also appreciate your continued prayers and support throughout the night as Nala fights to hang on.
