Hello everyone, my name is Amber Torrance and my dog is Buster Torrance. For those of you who do not know Busty, he is a short haired collie. On Friday November 14 at 10 pm he was rushed to the emergency vet. From 2-6 AM he underwent surgery for GDV (Gastric Dilatation and Volvulus) also known as a belly flip. He did survive and have a successful surgery and has been under constant observation by the vet the last 1-2 days. He will continue to need check ups and stitch removal following his return home. Buster has been a blessing and anyone who has meant him expresses love for him. The cost of the emergency vet was $8,000. This does not include follow up checks and stitch removal. As a student in graduate school these costs have been difficult. Any amount no matter how little would be helpful if possible, thank you everyone ♥️
